Stone Bridge over Curtis Creek on South 8th Street between South Park and Indian Mounds Park. An iron bridge was built in 1872 in this location and as it fell in disrepair was replaced in 1899 with a stone structure. Ernest Wood was the architect responsible for the stone bridge and Louis Weipracht, one of the laborers. This photograph shows the bridge with the wooden construction supports still in place, likely in the late summer or fall of 1899...
