The L shaped building in the foreground was known as the Disbrow Building. Andrew Disbrow had his wagon repair shop in the lower part of the building facing Main Street. The I.O.O.F. - Independent Order of Odd Fellows - occupied the second story. In the lower level along Church Street, there was a millinery shop and a grocery store.
