The swimming pool at Recreation Park was used for a demonstration of water rescue using a canoe. The park located at 500 East Miner Street was constructed as a WPA (Works Progress Administration) project in the 1930s. This item is part of the collection of the Arlington Heights Historical Society (http://www.ahmuseum.org).
