- Description
This picture showsBrown Hall, named for W. O. Brown, head of the rural education department (1914-1937). Construction of the first two residence halls on Thompson Point completed in 1957. Thompson Point now contains twelve buildings, all named after former Southern Illinois University professors and deans.
