A huge ornate gate on 48th Street welcomed visitors to the spectacular urban estate of Helen Swift Morris. In addition to the English Tudor style mansion, there was a large coach house topped by a cupola, a conservatory, vegetable and flower gardens, a tennis court and even a small teahouse on the property.
