Esther Stangor was born on July 4, 1891, to Herman and Amelia (Milly) Stangor. She grew up on a farm south of Arlington Heights known as “The Stangor Place.” She participated in the Arlington Heights High School Drama Class production of “Mr. Bob” and, in 1910, she and George C.
