Thomas Woodall, a track and field coach who came to Eastern Illinois University in 1965 (retired in 1981) discusses coming to EIU and becoming head coach. Throughout the interview he discusses his sports motivation philosophy, and implementing things like the “10 mile club” and starting a human performance laboratory.
