This is a color enhanced postcard showing the brick block on Dunton Avenue between Campbell and Davis Streets before 1917. The street was so named after it was rebuilt with brick buildings following an 1870s fire that destroyed the frame buildings. In 1917, the streets were paved and the buildings shown were lowered. The U. S. Post Office is pictured before it moved from the brick block to Campbell Street. This item is part of the collection ...
