A photograph taken by Corporal Charles Overstreet of his unit during training at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin in 1943. Corporal Overstreet was a T5 technician and battalion photographer of the Headquarters Battery Radio Unit of the 252nd Field Artillery Battalion. This photo shows the unit learning how to fire a 401 Howitzer CM43 artillery gun. Original photograph size: 2.13 in (h) x 2.38 in (w).
