Handwritten letter from Arthur Spellbring, who was serving in the United States Army in France, to S. Lloyd Rogers in Clinton, Illinois. NOTE: Roger's middle name supplied by the 1920 Clinton city directory. The letter was given to the Clinton Morning Journal for publication and contains editor's marks.
