The All-America City Award is given by the National Civic League annually to ten communities in the United States. It recognizes those whose citizens work together to identify and tackle community-wide challenges and achieve uncommon results. Quincy was awarded the All-America City Award in 1964 and hosted a parade in April 1965 to celebrate the accomplishment. Photograph is Crabby's Upholstery, on 1300 Spruce Street.
