This is a black and white photograph taken in June 1926 for the Eucharistic Congress. George Cardinal Mundelein, followed by many priests, walks from the Field Museum to the high altar in Soldiers’ Field. He walks with members from one of the Catholic fraternal organizations and a police officer. The Field Museum can be seen in the background.
